Heartland International

Founded in 1989, Heartland International is a nonprofit organization located in Chicago, Illinois.  Heartland International designs and implements international training and professional development programs that promote social justice, economic development and citizen engagement in emerging democracies. Programs focus on themes including advocacy, women's empowerment, good governance, legal reform, workforce development, capacity building, entrepreneurship and many others.
